Corner Pocket Open is being held on saturday 12th April, in the Corner Pocket Dalkeith. 24-26 Buccleuch Street, Dalkeith. 01316605252. Doors open at 9am and tables will be available for practice from 10am. Registration closes at 10.45am with draw being done on the day, play starts at 11am. format will be 8 groups of 6 based on 48 entries. £20 per head payable on the day and will be spotted white ball in use. Feel free to pay before then if you wish. Group stages and quarter finals will be best of 5, semi final best of 7 and final best of 9 in main event. Plate event best of 5 for all stages. Top 2 from each group go through to main event 3rd and 4th place go through to plate event. 1st position plays 2nd position from a different group, and 3rd position plays 4th. Straight knockout. In the event of a tie for positions then it will go to head to head. If we get 40 entries we guarantee prize money of £900, if we get 48 entries we guarantee prize money £1060.
