This is to "improve" Hwys 129, 143 and 28 in the Robbinsville to Stecoah area by reducing grades and tight turns to allow more truck traffic. This is part of the same plan that put in the massive 4 lane section of 28 that took out miles of a beautiful two lane twisty mountain road. Community Workshops are being held in North Carolina at the end of September and the first of October.
