CosWEcount! Inc. Update:3rd December 2014: Colac Herald (local newspaper) Featured the election results: MP. Terry Mulder made some interesting comments.... Mr Mulder called on Victoria’s new government to pay more attention to country Victoria. Mr. Mulders government had FOUR years to pay attention to Country Victoria But instead he and the State government chose to Ignore the plight of Colac and surrounds Ambulance Crisis which contributed to peoples Deaths! Mr Mulder said Polwarth had attracted “huge” state funding in the past four years, including improvements to the region’s rail line, level crossings, Colac’s Central Reserve, Bluewater Fitness Centre, Colac Secondary College, roads and bridges. Again NO mention of Health and Emergency services, no wonder as the State government cut $900 Million to Hospitals resulting in a funding cut of $700,000 to Colac Area Health ( Colac Hospital). As for Colac Secondary College? Its one of the very worst performing Schools in the State which causes many parents to send their children on a bus to a Geelong Secondary School. Roads? Colac and surrounds have the honor of having the Colac to Ballarat road voted the worst in the State.(March 16, 2014.) CosWEcount! Inc. will speak with the new State Health Minister / Emergency services Minister as it is still obvious that our local MP. Mr. Mulder still refuses to speak the A word = Ambulance! The Colac Ambulance Crisis continues and our petitions will be collected soon and presented to the new government in order that our claims / Demands be met and Colac becomes a safe place to live. Currently Colac is a very dangerous place to live or visit with only one Ambulance available to respond to more than 20,000 people over an area of 4,000 square KM.
