Cotton College Ex Boarders’ (1982-88) Welfare Society To The Superintendents of All Hostels Cotton College, Guwahati Dated, August 25, 2013 Sub: Scholarship (Half Mess Dues) for poor & needy Boarder Sir/Madam, As per your recommendations, the following Boarders are selected for the Scholarship/Renewal Scholarship (Half Mess Dues) for the session 2013-14. Please note the Rules & Regulations of this Scheme of CCEWS as cited below. The amount will be given to the Superintendent of the concerned Hostel on 26/08/2013 at KBR Hall at 6.30 pm at the Freshmen Social Function of the College. (Renewal) 08 NBD Girls’ Hostel (CG I) Deepti Jigdung, HS 2nd year, Sc. 09 SKL Girls’ Hostel (CG II) Viverly Rani Phonglosa, TDC 5th Sem.,Geology 10 DKR Girls’ Hostel Sabita Devi, MA 1st Sem., Sanskrit Rules & Regulations: I. Rs.8000/- (six thousand) only will be given to each selected Boarder. II. The amount will be given to the Superintendent of the concerned Hostel only and the Superintendent will keep the amount in the Mess Account. III. The concerned Superintendent will sanction maximum Rs.800/- (Eight hundred) only in every month in the name of the selected Boarder. IV. If the selected Boarder leaves the Hostel or withdraws his Hostel seat, he will forfeit the scholarship and that may be offered to another poor & needy Boarder. V. If the selected Boarder falls in violation of Hostel Rules, the scholarship will be cancelled. VI. The scholarship to the selected Boarders may be continued to the next year subject to the satisfactory result in Annual Exam & character certificate from the concerned Superintendent.
