Could Arizona States Taylor Kelly miss time with a foot injury? Arizona States Taylor Kelly hurt his right foot against Colorado Saturday night, and theres no indication on if hell be ready to play against UCLA. According to AZCentral, a spokesperson for No. 16 ASU said coach Todd Graham would not be discussing Kellys injury before Arizona State plays the Bruins on Thursday, Sep. 25. After the game, Graham said he was very concerned about Kellys injury per the AP, though he later changed his tone in his radio interview and said Kelly would be fine. Kelly was hurt in the third quarter and was taken to the locker room after he limped off the field after he was tackled. He did not look optimistic on the sidelines after the injury after he exited on crutches. Coupled with Arizona States apparent unwillingness to reveal anything about his status (and Grahams interesting flip flop), its hard to imagine hell be ready to play in less than two weeks. He was replaced by Mike Bercovici when he exited the game. Before he left, Kelly was 13-21 for 195 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 50 rushing yards. Kelly, a senior, has started 30 games for Arizona State. He emerged as the Sun Devils starter in 2012 and has held the job ever since as hes steadily improved as a passer while maintaining his ability to be a dynamic runner. If hes out for a while it would be an incredible loss for the Arizona State offense, hes easily the Sun Devils most important player. Arizona State LB Laiu Moeakiola also left the game with a right shoulder injury. The severity of his injury is also unknown. - - - - - - - Nick Bromberg is the assistant editor of Dr. Saturday on Yahoo Sports. Have a tip? Email him at nickbromberg@yahoo or follow him on Twitter!
