Could anyone tell me who made this ball and cap gun? Its a .45 caliber and it looks a lot like my CVA, but doesnt have the brass around the end of the barrel, to hold the front of the barrel down to the stock, this one I has a pin on the bottom of the barrel through the wood.. It has a steel ram rod, and a brass backer plate one the left hand side of the pistol that the screws go through to the hammer assembly. I took the barrel off and the only thing is says on the bottom on the under side of the barrel is Spain Where the nipple screws in is all nicely made in the barrel, a lot cleaner look than my CVA. The front sight is missing and the back sight is in a dovetail. Im guessing the front sight is only a pin pressed in the hole. Ill machine a new one is thats the case
