Couldnt make the funerals of Asap Yam & 200 but I would like to - TopicsExpress

Couldnt make the funerals of Asap Yam & 200 but I would like to speak on something and I hope no one gets offended. Surprisingly they both died the same day from what I heard the same causes.. I believe the media is training our culture to be addicts, drug dealers, and puts a negative image on us. Let 2015 be a year of awarness!! Protect your eyes and what you put in your ears! 20yrs ago Tupac said Dont just bob your head to the beat, listen to the words! Listen to the words of what that person is saying and ask yourself is that real! No one asks questions to these radio stations on why do the majority of the songs they play are songs degrading our culture...you cant to much blame the artists because theyre going to continue to make songs they feel that would get played on the radio. People dont seem to understand the media is feeding yall a message of slow death! Why are their no songs about becoming lawyers, doctors, or how to better yourselves...With numerous police brutality going on, why no songs about teaching us how to protect ourselves and learn our rights?...why are theyre not songs on telling men its cool to be in love with one woman or to be a father to your kids. Instead broadcast a image of its better to have many girls instead of one, its better to be doped up instead of being sober with a clear mind, etc.. That lean and pills are killing people everyday but why are there no songs explaining that...it seems the more people that die from it the more songs you hear promoting it! Once again, ...Let this be a Year of Awarness & Progress for a better Generation, Future, and Living - Carlos
