Countdown to Space take off...and Happy Mexico Day at LO CURA Lounge at We Love Space: With this Sunday seeing the penultimate party of what has been a tremendously successful summer in El Salon for the Lo Cura Lounge crew, hopes are high for a total smasher this 15 Sept with DJs Jon Woodall, Daisy Heartbreaker, Brian Beezwax, David Phillips and Stray Kitten giving it their all from 11pm till they’re swinging off the chandeliers. The excuse for that kind of carry on this time around is an obvious one: WAY HEY it’s MEXICO DAY- a fact we intend to celebrate it like the best of them, not lest because local bar La Mezcaleria is getting on board to provide all manner of tequila and tings throughout the night. Like we need encouragement, the owners of the Dalt Vila watering hole will bring an assortment of the finest Mezcal bottles from the heart of Mexico in a bid to educate both us seasoned tequila fans and newbie’s to the elixir that wets our whistles in the Lo Cura Lounge at We Love twice monthly. Behind the ‘tasting’, our resident Mexicana Daisy Heartbreaker who’ll take over the decks at 2am, following on from Stray Kitten and Beewax before handing over to Jon Woodall and good old Dave the Rave Phillips. Sombreros and Frida Kahlo eyebrows at the ready- Lo Cura Lounge, here we come, two more to go! Lets make them count!
