County Fair 2014 is in our memories now. The sheep represented us well. As I spent time on the management end of the fair in the past, it was good to see son Gibb serving as Swine Superintendent, and as a 4H leader daughter Shanna had kids with animals in every barn at the fair, from steers to rabbits with pigs and sheep in between. She still had enough get up and go left to serve as the goat tying flagger at the high school rodeo yesterday and today. Got to watch a couple grandsons compete with their horses, hogs, and sheep in the pre junior events. Just to make sure things kept hopping, we journeyed to Maupin, OR yesterday morning to pickup another grandkids horse given to us. A trip back to town to exchange trailers with Shanna this morning and everything will be back to as normal as it gets around here.
