County government paves the way for people for businesses to do what they do best. Build their business. People invest in communities that invest in themselves. County government paves the way for business by being consumer friendly. Let me be very clear about this ideal I hold – county government is a partner first and a regulator second. We will partner with those that want to invest in this community with a welcoming and helpful attitude. When building a strong and vibrant community, you focus on developing a safe and healthy community with good roads, adequate water and sewer services and beautiful parks. It’s a simple equation, unless we want less services, or we want to pay more for the services we have, we have to expand our tax base. When we promote retail development, when we promote private investment, when we promote our community we are building the resources we need to build a strong community. So we can build a strong, vibrant future together. Yes, I have a pro-growth agenda. Growth is NOT a dirty word. If you are not growing you are dying. I want to replace despair with hope. I want us to take the reigns of our future and work together to build the future we all want for our children and grandchildren. I hope you will support me on November 4 for the District 4 seat on the Okeechobee Board of County Commissioners.
