Court has adjourned for the day in the trial of Randy Taylor, the man accused in the abduction and murder of 17-year-old Alexis Murphy. Testimony this morning centered on the bloody evidence the prosecution has against Taylor. Taped interviews with Taylor were played this afternoon. In one from August 5, he denies having ever seen Murphy on August 3. In the other from August 7, after investigators tell Taylor he was seen on surveillance video talking to Murphy, Taylor said he had no memory of going to the gas station or talking to Murphy because hed been drinking. But, he added, he must have been there if he was seen on surveillance video. Court will resume tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.
