Court on the guy who stole my car was today. Got a phone call early this morning asking what I thought..... Lady on Phone: We wanted to ask you as the victim if you think we should let them plea bargain. Right now he is facing a felony charge with a year in prison and they want to plea bargain to a Misdemeanor with a year of strict probation. Me: No, he should go to prison or at least a rehab to get clean for a year. I also think he should have to pay me restitution. So the outcome..... Misdemeanor with a strict year of probation and pay restitution to myself and my insurance company.... WOW why ask the victim if you really dont care what they say! They just didnt want to have to deal with it I am sure. Cant believe you can steal a car and the contents in it and just get probation with a court history of stealing cars and drug offenses. Now we will see if I actually get anything.
