Court remands man for alleged impersonation of DSS An Osogbo Magistrates’ Court on Thursday remanded a 22-year-old man, Aladegbolu Victor, in Ilesa prison for alleged impersonating as a detective of the Department of State Service (DSS) in Osun. The Magistrate, Mr Olusola Aluko, remanded the accused because of the magnitude of the offence. Prosecutor Wilson Mireti told the court that the accused conspired with others at large to committee the offence on Aug. 9, at Ile lfe. Mireti said the accused went about with his colleagues, wearing DSS uniforms, claiming to be DSS officers before he was apprehended and brought to court. He said the offence contravened Sections 517 and 109 of the Criminal Code of Osun 2003. No plea was taken and the case was adjourned till Sept. 12.
