Courtesy Posting Please help save Reba. This morning Reba has started to decline and the anal prolapse the vet surgically repaired is tearing open. She could bleed to death and I would have to put her down before she suffered. Help me avoid that, she doesnt deserve this she is only 3 months and didnt get a fair start. She was dropped at the shelter, was up next for euthanasia, my heart said no way. She has made it this far and is a little trooper. Two of the siblings were put down the day before and I knew Reba was next. She is a darling, bouncy, red heeler mix, Hoping I got her out in time, they said she was not sick. She did indeed have diarrhea, I gave it a couple of days of good food and out of the shelter hoping for the best. Well, I ended up taking Reba to the vet, got her on anti-biotics, quarantined her, watched all of her moves and signs of distemper or parvo. She never showed those signs and the incubation period is up. I noticed her anal prolapse, got her to the vet and had emergency surgery. She is again on anti-biotics, pain killers, and other meds. I have exhausted all of my funds which is only my disability. Please lets dont lose Reba now. Today from straining to potty, Rebas anal prolapse has not stayed. I fear she will bleed to death because I cant afford to return to the vet. I would not let her suffer, I would let her go peacefully in my arms with love before I see her suffer. Please help me with Reba, so innocent and in the hands of humans. If someone had of just de-wormed these babies, just that alone, this would not be happening. Please and thank you. If you cannot help, that is ok and I understand so just say a prayer for Reba that we find a way for her to live. Asking for help is very hard for me, but I am asking for Reba, I have done my best, others like Sue and Laura also helped. I am willing to do side jobs to make extra money for her.
