Courtesy post! I met this guy....LOVE him!! Bronson our solid white gorgeous stallion of a lover boy. He’s at the Humane Society of Amherst County (434-946-2340) waiting for a new home. He was adopted from us as a puppy and later was found to be deaf. His owners loved him to pieces but they did not have time to work with him on hand signals, etc. He’s very eager to learn and eager to please. He is 100 % DOG FRIENDLY and just a complete, all around joy! Bronson is neutered, fully vetted and heartworm negative. He’s 2 year old now and even at 60 pounds he is very easy to handle. Bronson really relates to people and thinks everyone he sees is a new friend and playmate. He is always happy and upbeat - even though he is totally deaf. Bronson will need a special owner since he has no hearing, an owner that has the time and patience to teach him hand signals and commands. There are also vibrating collars that will help with training by getting the dogs attention. We are so in love with this boy and want the perfect home for him. He is available for adoption now. He has plenty of dog friends at the shelter to help him pass the days but a home that is able to care for a deaf dog is what he needs.
