Craig Edwards – Development/Assistant Coach A lot of you boys are familiar with Boothy already. Let’s not take him for granted and understand what he has achieved in his career and what experience he draws on when he stands there and explains elements of the game - He has played 246 senior games for Morningside, has played in 3 Senior premierships, has won the Senior best and fairest on 3 occasions, has represented QLD on 5 occasions. Based on all of that he is also a member of the AFL Queensland Hall of Fame – fair effort for a young fellow who took a punt as a kid and moved to Brisbane to try his luck at Morningside. Boothy will look after the development of specific skills of individuals he identifies as needing additional assistance to reach their goals at the club. He will also be taking a more active role in the overall coaching of the group from training sessions, game preparation to match day management. After 2 years as Midfield Coach this also forms part of Craig’s journey to becoming a Club Coach.
