I need to find someone who is willing to adopt my beautiful dog and give her the medical attention and care she desperately needs. I have been unemployed since last fall after a fast growing tumor was discovered in me during a catscan. I had surgery in Jan and now am awaiting back surgery. I can not work. My dog needs vet care and I simply do not have any money to give her that. I adopted her almost 4 yrs ago and she is approx 7 yrs old. She is white german shepard/wolf cross. Very gentle with children and loves other dogs and lives with 2 cats with no conflicts. She is Alpha and responds amazingly to males but not as much to women. She is playful but getting older and likes to hang out on her blanket near her food. Very low maintenance and very loyal. I love her so much I have to let her go. I can not allow her to remain with me when needs medical help that I can not provide at this time. She has a reoccurring ear issue with excessive wax, a wart like thing between her pads on 1 paw, just got fleas well at pet sitters, and chews her backside when stressed( I had to leave her when I had to go to Alberta for funeral recently), she is also overdue for her shots.. She is allergic to grains and needs a grain free diet. I use kirkland/costco salmon food which approx $40/month but she was on Orijen fish until recently and that is approx$75/month. I do not know what else to do but put out a plea for someone to take care of this very unique beautiful dog. It crossed my mind to ask if someone to help me financially but unless that miracle happens very soon I need to just let her go to someone who can provide her with a better life right away.
