Cranes secure two friendlies. Cranes coach Micho Sredojevic will have a double chance to test his players metal before Uganda face Ghana in the 2015 Nations Cup qualifiers next month. The Serbian was granted his wish ahead of the November 15 must-win encounter with the Black Stars following confirmation by Fufa that the Cranes have secured two warm-games against Ethiopia and Sudan. Micho had in the aftermath of the 1-0 away loss to Togo prayed for at least one warm-game to gauge his players before the game against Ghana. While addressing the 90th Fufa General Assembly Saturday, the federation president, Moses Magogo, revealed the team would host Ethiopia on November 9 before playing Sudan two days later - with all games played at Namboole. The friendly game(s) will help the team fine-tune before the Ghana clash, he said. The Cranes are currently third with just four points in Group E. They are four and two points behind leaders Ghana and Togo respectively with two games left. Uganda need to win both the remaining games to end the 37-year absence from the Nations Cup finals.
