Crazy but true story: Yesterday Thomas and I finally decided to go buy the kyaks weve wanted since we moved two hours later we get in the water and decide to go into the ocean just to ride some waves, well it was low tide and the ocean ended up pulling us out way further than what we were trying and we found ourselves looking at a wave taller than us and it was all down hill from there, we were both flipped out of the kyaks that were now full of water and couldnt pull them onto shore I finally got mine to a point where I could stand and I turned around and Thomas was gone after 20-30 minutes of yelling for anyone to come help me or him and be scared out of my mind that I had lost my husband was the worst/scariest moments of my life thankfully while I was doing this thomas was okay he just got pulled out with the kyak farther farther and after he couldnt see me anymore he decided the kyaks not worth it and to let go and swim to find me, we made it to shore finally after swimming and walking miles only to out truck with no keys since they had been left in the safe in the kyak and in the moment that was the last thing we were thinking about so we got a friend to come get us were semi upset about the kyak and we dont have a spare for the truck so we were having to wait for someone to make a key Monday but for the most part just happy we both made it alive so today we were on our way to St . Augustine with friends and the Coast Guard calls Thomas! A ship 10 miles off the coast had found the kyak and thought someone went over board and called the coast guard base so they could send out a search but first they found our keys on the inside that have an All state tag on them that says if found call and a number they did that and all state gave them our info and after quite a bit of convincing and explaining thomas and I get to go pick up the keys and the kyak tomorrow morning!!
