Creepy music...some people thrive on scaring the Hell out of us by making some of the most haunting, bizarre, disturbing and downright terrifying music. Sometimes its the lyrics that are what make a song creepy, but other times theres horrifying music to go along with it, lastly, sometimes the voice and music behind the lyrics are what are truly terrifying. Ive compiled a list of ten songs that I find terrifying, please, leave your opinion in the comment section! 10. The residents: jelly Jack I dont even know where to go with this one...its a strange entry. The Willy wonka song : Marilyn Manson This is a different choice when it comes to Marilyn Manson songs, with songs like the nobodies, coma white or disposable teens usually being chosen. This song, however, is the one that sends chills down my spine. The Goat: sopor aeternus and the ensemble of shadows This is more of a poem being recited to eerie background music, but its creepy regardless. A bald, demonic looking transvestite recites a dark poem about a goat trying to gain entrance to their house. My guess is this is symbolizing Satan trying to get into your protective circle. Prom queen: insane clown posse Now, Im expecting some hate because of this entry, but you have to admit, the lyrics of this song sound like they are based on a Hitchcock film. The song is sung from the perspective of a teen, who after being turned down by his crush, murders her and holds a prom in his basement, with him, some party favors, and the corpse of his crush. Hell is for children: Pat Benatar Another strange addition, but this song is horrifying not because of the way it sounds but the content hidden behind the average rock and roll sound. This is a song about child abuse. Come to daddy: aphex twin Techno genius aphex twin came up with this little doozy, though he is no stranger to creepy music, or creepy videos. Black Sabbath: black Sabbath Alright, this one is kind of a given, as any scary song list has this specific tune on there. Of course, it belongs. The haunting guitar paired with the semantically possessed voice of ozzy Osborne is nightmare fuel. I grew up listening to black Sabbath, but as a kid whenever I heard ozzy screaming for God to help him...I always covered my ears. Ive been a huge COF Fan since early adolescence, but this song always scares the living daylights out of me. Theres everything in this song, haunting background music, gibberish, pigs squealing, and of course, the infamous lords prayer when reversed. This song is not for the faint of heart. It starts out with a chilling piano combined with a low guitar growl (yes, it sounds like a growl) then joined with a demonically distorted vocal piece that sounds like Satan himself is producing it. Song number one, and let me warn you, this song is a lot to take in. The song is about a woman who was so burnt she looked like hamburger meat. The vocals are distorted, making it hard to understand most of the time, and the background music is enough to make one feel physically ill. Oh...did I mention the lyrics to this song were taken from a letter written by a doctor from a hospital where this burn victim showed up?
