Crime is a spiritual problem that is revealed on a social level. We have been putting millions of dollars into our educational system and creating social reforms and still crime is at its all time highest. Which is a clear indication that the root problem cannot merely be solved only at a social level. Its not a social problem...its a spiritual problem. I am reminded of the first murder the ever took place in the bible. It was old fashion hatred and jealousy that rose up in Cains heart to kill his own flesh and blood. A person doesnt just wake up one day and decide..today Im gonna be a killer. It takes a demoralization of the spirit to dismiss the laws of God... to breed hatred, greed, anger, jealousy, apathy, and a devaluing of human life. Sin is a cancer to our souls and the ultimate destruction to a nation. Righteousness exalts a nation! We are aware of the problems...but what is the answer? Our nation must encounter the power of God to bring true spiritual change on the inside first. Wake up church! You are needed more than ever!
