Cross - over mandate 3: Step out with Sound mind Num 33:3-4 - Sound mind speaks of a living consciousness of the existence, personality, capacity, capability, judgment and providence of God and an attitude of assurance, reliance, and sustenance in who and what the Lord is far and above a prevailing circumstance. Challenges will come definitely, but the knowledge of God in you creates boldness, courage and commitment to overcome; for only him that overcomes will receive power over the nations Rev 2:26. Many a times, a lot of us embark on journeys of life or step into a task with fear, timidity, and unbelief (doubt). Definitely, the end of such journey, and the outcome of the task cannot produce meaningful testimony and long lasting smiles. Hear this, ‘Mase yemeji mase wehin...’; ‘Emi ni Oluva, mase beru aiye...’ No one starts a journey with such attitude and expect to end it well. Many of us are crossing over into 2014 with weakened mindset even before we set out. We have put on a timid and negative countenance, which speaks failure rather than success, and limitation instead of greatness. Hear this! “God has not given us the spirit of timidity, but of sound-mind”. Listen, as you cross over and progress in the movement, be assured that weaklings, doubts and the fearful minds cannot inherit 2014. So, you have to decide now to be strong, faithful, and courageous, then, you shall inherit 2014. Even though 2014 looks uncertain, step into it with certainty. Even though the future of 2014 with this country, with your perpetual situation and with your perennial deprivation seems bleak and blur, march into it with fullness and brightness. Change your faith mindset to see and behold greatness, glory, fame, prosperity, healing, employment, appointments, success, excellence, breakthrough, elevation, upliftment, marriage, peace, tranquillity, deliverance, long-life, sound-health in 2014, and not the opposite. Hear this! Ps. 2:12 says ‘blessed are all those who put their trust in the Lord!’ listen, as you commit your crossing over into his hands, assuringly his right hands that is exalted and does valiant things shall lift and settle you upon a rock that is higher than you.
