Crossing Paths: Can you guess the connection between these two guys? None. There was no connection or relationship 15 minutes prior to this picture being taken of them. These two men were total strangers before this chance meeting on a playground court in East Boston. My family was vacationing in Boston recently (East Boston). I dont know many people who have vacationed in East Boston, but we did. We happened upon a group of young men playing basketball in the park. I had asked these young men if I could photograph them. They replied that I could only if my husband (pictured in the red shirt) played with them. What you may be able to see in this photograph is my husband feeling like a teenager again and having a great time. What you cant see is our three children looking on as their father plays ball with some inner city young men who he met only moments before, and me taking photos as fast as my fingers will allow. It was a meeting that fate and happenstance brought together and hopefully touched all involved. I did exchange emails with the young man in the photo and have forwarded him the images that I captured that day. He loved them all.
