Cruel or Fun???? A horse pulls a plough forward, a cart on a hill exerts a backward pull but that is controlled by a brake if extreme (and no one responsible would allow the load to exceed the horses strength). There is nothing traditional or natural about a pull being exerted onto a horse rather than the horse exerting the pull. I feel that the Cornish Pirates and the Organisers were WRONG to allow this...... Over to you....
