Curious: If I turned my thanksgiving dinner Idea (which isnt happening this year) into a Holiday dinner instead and we hosted it on December 19th or 20th who would participate and which day works better? 19th is a Friday 20th a Saturday... Same concept of having a chef prepare the main course, but because much interest was shown by people wanting to help cook we would encourage others to bring additional items like a pot luck. Still do the $40ish per person contribution (probably less for children) so that we can compile the excess and make an amazing holiday experience for someone who is less fortunate. We could even possibly each bring a small gift for him/her... Thoughts? Ideas? Interest?
