Description : · Breakdown the Project into activities (WBS) and set up the organization (OBS) and the cost structure (CBS) · Have the Project breakdown approved by the various managers, in particular by the Project Manager; · Ensure prepare cost coding and postings by site supervisors; · Supervise activities link to planning; · Determine the methods to calculate progress per discipline; · Monitor the progress and the forecast and have them approved by the leaders of each discipline; · Draw up weekly and monthly cost control reports and have them approved by the Project Manager; · Analyze the productivity indexes and propose the appropriate measures to the Project Manager (reinforcement of teams or demobilization); · Incorporate the Contract changes in the schedule and follow-up of activities; · Prepare payment certificates to the sub-contractors; · Propose alternates to improve and secure the overall Project duration; Knowledge Base: A. Academic Education B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or equivalent in the field of specialization and/or Member of Professional Organisation. B. Professional Education · In-depth knowledge of project management, project construction and recognized practices and principals. · Preferable experience in Oil & Gas Industry construction projects in the Arab world and internationally. C. Special Knowledge · Project management level skills, development coherent team to achieve strong presence and recognition within the project members, consultants, subcontractors and client. · Expand project base with efficiency and professional performance. · Computer literate and fluency in oral and written English (Arabic is an advantage), Previous Experience: · Experience of at least 8 years in civil projects planning and cost control 2 of which as a Cost Control Engineer for major construction projects with experience the Middle East in particular GCC. · Able to plan and monitor progress, suggest and implement cost control system to the project processes from before execution and right through the construction phase, prepare adequate reports to assist the project management team in all such control activities. · Excellent communication skills; able to perform within a multicultural and multi-task environment; Thorough and meticulous on details, able to work under pressure. · Excellent command of English language (Arabic is a great asset); Contract Administrator Description : Department: Contracts Position Organizational Structure: Contract Administrator reporting to the Senior Contract Administrator with Senior Quantity Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors as direct reports. Position: Contract Administrator Reports to: Senior Contract Administrator Section: Not applicable Direct Reports: Senior Quantity Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors Internal Working Relations: Construction, QA/QC, Field Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls External Working Relations: Subcontractors, Consultants and Clients Key Objectives of the Job: To coordinate the administration of the prime contract and subcontracts on a company project. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Ensure that the administration of contracts in the project is carried out in accordance with the company policies and procedures. 2. Monitor the performance of awarded subcontracts, checking and agreeing the accuracy of monthly payment applications during the life of the subcontract and at completion of the work. 3. To formulate change orders to existing subcontracts for change in scope and / or pricing. 4. To assist in the review and settlement of any claims as may be raised by subcontractors. 5. To assist in the preparation of documentation/letters like change orders, review of bid documents, letters of intent, contracts and purchase orders and other contract related correspondences as directed. Key Results/Outcomes: Job Requirements: Technical Competencies: · Technical and practical knowledge of all phases of contract development, award, administration and close-out relating to a multi-discipline construction project. · Knowledgeable of current industry and technical developments. · Strong working knowledge of administering FIDIC or ICE and other similar contract formulation standards. Minimum Experience: 10 Years Minimum Education: A recognized degree in an Engineering or scientific discipline or equivalent qualification AND/OR Formal qualifications / affiliations to RICS, IQS, MICES or MCIOB.
