**Current Warnings In Nova Scotia** Halifax County - east of Porters Lake Rainfall Halifax Metro and Halifax County West Rainfall Inverness County - Mabou and north Les Suêtes wind Lunenburg County Rainfall Queens County Rainfall Shelburne County Rainfall Yarmouth County Rainfall A trough of low pressure will cross the Maritimes overnight. Rain associated with this feature will begin in Southwestern Nova Scotia this afternoon and spread eastward this evening. Rainfall amounts in excess of 50 millimetres are expected along the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia with locally higher amounts possible in heaviest showers. Western regions are expected to receive 20 to 40 millimetres of rain, with local amounts possibly exceeding 50 millimetres. Also, Les Suetes winds will develop overnight over the Cape Breton Highlands ahead of the trough. Wind gusts up to 90 km/h are expected and will persist until noon Thursday.
