:: Current affairs- 22 June :: 1) The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on 21 June 2013 approved Ministry of Food and Supplies’ proposal of selling how much quantity of FCI foodgrains in the open market? – 10.5 million tonnes (The decision to sell Food Corporation of India (FCI)’s food-grain stock in open market has been taken with a view to control retail prices of foodgrains. 10 million tonnes of wheat and 0.5 million tonnes of rice will be made available for sale under the Open Market Sale Scheme (OMSS))
