#Cyber #Terrorism #Hackers are techno wizards out to prove a point. When Bill Gates, as a student, hacked #IBM, they appointed him to design a fool-proof system for IBM. But what was started as an adventure has now become a major crime, threatening to wipe of global data and global communication. But the Big Three industries affected by hacking are financial services, hospitality and retail accounting for 33%, 23%, and 15% respectively. As a country, #India is much vulnerable to cyber terrorism as 42 million cases of hacking were reported last year. You must be a hacker before you can develop a fool-proof security system. Therefore in #NewYork there is a school of hackers, who are looking for smart, friendly, self-directed, and intellectually curious people who want to get dramatically better every year. It might surprise you that some hackers have ethics; you have white hats, black hats and brown hats. The white hats are the ethical ones, the black hats the unethical ones, and the brown hats a mix. The unethical hackers act like terrorists, blocking the freedom of speech. They have been shooting the messenger, targeting media that can present their point of view if they have one. If the #Pentagon can be broken in by #Chinese hackers, there is no country or system that could be fool-proof. The 21st century must envy the freedom of the cave dweller!
