Cyclist v Motorbike accident this morning. Cyclist heading northbound on Marmion Ave, turning right at Old Bunnings Roundabout. Southbound Marmion Motorcyclists lane split and failed to give way and one clipped cyclists rear wheel. Cyclist (Orica green edge kit) conscious and up and about and taken to Hospital for precautionary measures.Motorcyclist admitted fault but also said bikes shouldnt be on a busy roundabout! He didnt get much sympathy for a sore wrist. Interestingly, many drivers who were direct witness to the accident failed to stop, while one driver, several cars back stopped to say that speed and and impatience were a cause.
