Cyclocross!! How I love it and it freaks me out at the same time. It was all going great until the last lap. Short story, took a turn too wide and somehow caught my handlebars on the course marking ribbon and ran into one of the candle markers. Over the handlebars I went! Im fine, just a few bumps and bruises (the biggest one being my ego!). I will say super glad I was wearing a helmet!!! Im sure it saved my noggin! When I got up off the ground my back tire was stuck. I couldnt get it working and some guy came out of the crowd and got it loosened up enough so I could at least ride the last lap. Does anyone know who that was??? Id love to be able to say thanks. I was kinda out of it and just remember that he was wearing carhart type pants. Bikes already at The Trek Bicycle shop getting some much needed tlc. Should be ready to go by next weekend! Goal for next week.....stay upright!
