He will explore first the power of innovation on an organisation’s strategy and relate it to recent examples of organisational failure. He will then discuss how recent developments in innovation theory have explained the process by which ideas originating from suppliers and customers can lead to successful new products often not in the knowledge of the organisation and its new product development teams. Dr Tsinopoulos will conclude by providing some ideas and good practice in harvesting and commercialising this rich and often unexplored source of ideas.
