DA leader concedes that defeat for DA in the Western Cape is possible ! Read Die Burger today ( 3 April 2014) where Helen Zille admits that DA faces prospect of losing the western cape. They would never have admitted this 6 months ago. While it may be argued that this is a scare tactic to mobilise DA voters who are thinking of not voting, I think they are finally admitting that : * farmworkers will never vote DA as DA did not support increase in minimum wage and took the sides of certain racist farmers * workers will never support DA because workers understand what the ANC has done to secure the rights of workers at the workplace * youth will never vote DA because DA closed down youth commission in province and did not set up youth desks at municipal level. Youth also understand how the ANC has provided hundreds of thousands of NSFAS loans to poor students to study at college and university * women will not vote DA as they can see that women do not serve in the DA cabinet and that very few woemn on DAs lists, DA not doing enough when it comes to imprving ECD provision in poor , rural and working class communities * many parents in mitchells plain will never vote DA again as they were failed by DA who did not make any effort to ensure that their children found a place in school - they have missed out on over four weeks of school and some still not placed...it was only through the efforts of the ANC and mitchells plain education forum that over 900 learners were assisted. If this had happened in Rondebosch, the DA would have declared a crisis. Its is racism, pure and simple. ....the list continues Its time for change in the western cape its time to take the western cape forward and bury the ghost of apartheid - DA - forever its time to vote ANC on 7 May 2014 !
