He concentrated on finishing his Sociology degree at the College of Charleston (CofC), and growing his small business Teacups and Trucks. The party planning business has garnered a generous amount of local attention and awards, and Johnson completed his degree in May 2011 with a 3.6 GPA. Along with Teacups and Trucks, Danny is an account executive for EcoHarmony Distribution LLC, a green solutions distributor for facilities. In November of 2012, Johnson accepted the offer of becoming the color analyst for the mens basketball team at CofC.
