FLAG FOOTBALL CLUB: meets after school TODAY in the Gym until 3:15 PM; don’t forget to get a late bus pass. RENAISSANCE CLUB: meets after school TODAY in Room 508 until 3:15 PM; don’t forget a late bus pass. See Mrs. Eckert if you have any questions. JOURNALISM CLUB: meets after school TODAY in Room 308 until 3:15 PM to begin work on our first issue; come ready to write! Don’t forget to get a late bus pass. VOLLEYBALL CLUB: The team that wins the Championship Volleyball Game will represent DeMasi Middle School for a game against Somerdale Middle School. This game will take place in the Gym at 2:30 PM on Friday, November 1st. You will be able to take the 3:45 late bus home. All members of the Volleyball Club are welcome to attend the game and cheer on DeMasi. Don’t forget to get a 3:45 late bus pass. ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS: A new Culinary Club, “CHOPPED” will be forming at DMS. Eighth Graders ONLY for the first mini club. 8th Graders are invited to come to an informational meeting on Wednesday, November 13th in Room 508 until 3:15 PM. Only 30 students will be permitted to join. Any questions, please see Mrs. Eckert in Room 508. This club will run approximately until December 18th. 6th & 7th Graders will get a chance later in the school year. ATTENTION ALL 8th GRADERS: Anyone interested in modeling “DeMasi Wear” during lunch on Friday, October 25th, please see Mrs. Heenan in Room 519. Both boys and girls from Red AND Green Houses are needed! ATTENTION 8th GRADE STUDENTS: Want to help make this year’s Yearbook the best one yet? Come to Yearbook Club’s first meeting on Wednesday, October 23rd in Room 112. Sign ups are posted outside of the House Offices. Please see Ms. Williams in Room 112 with any questions. CHEERLEADING: Anyone interested in trying out for the DeMasi Cheer Squad? You MUST have your completed physical form in to Mrs. Myers by November 1st.
