DAILY DEVOTION (7/10/2013) Topic: NO HOPE IS LOST Memory verse: Job14:7, “For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease” Text: Job14:1-14 Bible reading: THE BOOK OF PHILLIPIANS Thanksgiving prayers. THE WORD Child of God can I begin by saying in this short morning exhortation that in whatever situation you find yourself never give up on GOD and also yourself. A man who has given up on his goals, future, and on God is not fit to live. As far as you are still breathing, there is still HOPE for you. This chapter started by saying in Verse1 that “Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble”. Beloved we come to understand that things don’t go rosy always in life, there are ups and downs and that is what builds a great man. Have situation beaten you hands down? Is your life now a schedule of failure? NO HOPE IS LOST, for the bible says, “For there is hope of a tree”, and come think of it there is hope for a tree, how much more you that was created in the image of God, it means that there is not only hope for you but you are the hope of others. It has been said; WHEN YOU EXPERIENCE A SETBACK, NEVER TAKE A STEP BACK, BECAUSE IT IS A SETUP FOR A POWERFUL COME BACK. Beloved don’t give up, have you been rejected or despised by men? Hear this man has rejected you for God to accept you, or is it with your walk with God? Are you struggling and feel you are not yet there, or there is this addiction you want to be free from and it is like rise today fall tomorrow? Beloved there is hope for you because you are the hope of others. For weeping may endure in the night but joy cometh in the morning (Ps30:5). NO MATTER HOW DARK THE NIGHT IS, THE DAY MUST BREAK. In Job14:9, the bible says “But with water, it will grow again. It will grow branches like a new plant” (Easy to Read version. ESV). Beloved this water that cause the growth of a cut down tree that was seen in this verse signifies the WORD OF GOD (Eph5:26) which gives LIFE (John1:4) to a dead situation. In whatever situation you are in beloved, always hold God by his word because he honors His word more than His Name. The question now boils down to how much of God’s word do you know? For your hope to be guaranteed and for you to be a hope unto others you must be a word addiction, because that’s what is able to give Life to your dead situations. Have you spoken to that situation? Speak the word now. Ps107:20, he sent his word, and healed them and delivered them from their destructions. Lay your hands on your chest and begin to speak to every hopeless situation in your Life Family and Career. PRAYER POINT 1. Life of God, shine on my dead situation, in Jesus Name. 2. Every situation in my life, asking where is my God, receive instant answer by Fire. 3. Powers that cut down trees of destiny, assigned against my life, Die in the name of Jesus. 4. MY FATHER MY MAKER, make me the HOPE of others in Jesus Name. The Lord bless you from Zion, cause His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you, in Jesus Name. your going out and coming in is blessed, as you go this new week, accident and disaster shall not be your portions.
