DAILY SPIRITUAL FOOD; SURVIVING IN THE MIDST OF COUNTERFEIT GOSPEL/REVIVAL. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine,but according to their own desires,because they have itching ears,they will heap up for themselves Teachers ;And they will turn their ears away from the truth,and be turned aside to fables;But you be watchful in all things,endure afflictions,do the work of an Evangelist,fulfill your ministry. - 2 Timothy 4;3-6 Having a form of godliness but denying the its power. and from such people turn away. For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins,led away by various lusts,always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.2 Timothy 3;5-7 Friends, we are living in the last days and in the very midst of a fake and Satan-driven revival. Our Lord Jesus Christ warned us to beware of such destructive,unfruitful kind of revivals ,after having tasted himself, such pseudo,evil- driven display of spirituality presented to him by the devil.The devil quoted accurately psalm ninety one verses eleven and twelve to Jesus during the temptations he encountered, after his forty days fasting,prior to the commencement of his earthly ministry. In the twenty fourth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew ,Jesus forewarned us to be watchful and avoid these false teachers/prophets and messengers who would come and bring damnable heresies and doctrines that would give birth to the current inglorious and unfruitful revivals ravaging the world especially, the fours walls of the Church of a living and Holy God. Friends, Revival without true transformed changes destroys genuine fellowship with a Holy God and brings in its wake ,Gods anger,rejection,shortage and total abandonment . And Jesus answered and said to them;Take heed that no one deceives you.For many will come in my name, saying ,I am the Christ,and will deceive many.Then many false prophets will rise and deceive many.And because Lawlessness will abound ,the Love of many will grow cold.But he endures to the end shall be saved. Matthew 24;4,5,11-13 It is highly offensive,disgusting and heart-broken to see sinners and dare-devil preachers /teachers twisting and destroying the sacredness and purity of Gods word of Life and deliverance in what is famously acclaimed to be revival,thus destroying and sending multitudes of souls into hell on daily basis. May God have mercy and wake up His end-time army ,whom He is gradually assembling , to counter this devil-propelled so called revival in Jesus name . Some time ago in a Virgil night in a prayer group in Lagos -Nigeria ,the Lord,Jesus spoke to us that he has rejected so many of his called servants who had abandoned the ministries he committed into their hands .He spoke to us that he is raising His end-time army with the message of repentance and Holiness to herald and spearhead his end-time revival across the nations of the world. This was sometime in 1996. I believe strongly that this revival has kicked in. It is instructive to note that in the book of first Samuel chapter four,the sinful ,priestly sons of prophet Eli who tried and failed to pilot/conduct a false revival were decisively punished by God .Instead of a true far-reaching revival produced Ichabods (Spiritual dwarfs/half baked believers/outright sinners).They experienced a humiliating spiritual defeat in the hands of their enemies . Friends when sinful,unconverted preachers/prophets/teachers heads a revival train,that train must surely derail and plunge precious souls into hell. This equally takes away the glory of God out of the midst of the assembly of Gods people, and as a direct consequence breeds a fertile ground for Satan and his ever busy demonic charlatans to feast on Gods Children. Just like the defiled priesthood of the sons of Eli,a larger segment of the priesthood in the Church of the living God is defiled and unclean, and so cannot pilot genuine revival in the Church of a Holy God. 2 Timothy 2;19-22,,Isaiah 52;11 So the people sent to Shiloh,that they might bring from there the Ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts,who dwells between the cherubim.And the two sons of Eli,Hophni and phinehas,were there with ark of the covenant of God .And when the ark of the covenant of the Lord came into the camp,all Israel shouted so loudly that the earth shook. So the Philistines fought,and Israel was defeated,and every man fled to his tent.There was a very great slaughter,and the of Israel thirty thousand foot soldiers. Also the ark of God was captured;and the two sons of Eli,Hophni and Phinehas,died.Then she named the child Ichabod,saying the glory has departed from Israel.because the ark of God had been captured and because of her father-in Law and her husband.1 Samuel 4;4,510,11,21 Friends the devil knows the fake believers ,as well as Gods children and tries to dismantle the true God-piloted revival.However, God surely has all the know-how of tearing down these fake revival structures to make room for His true revival.He did it to the sons of Eli, to the people of the city of Babel when they tried to pilot a revival to climb to heaven to challenge Gods authority and sovereignty,believe me He will soon do it again in this present Generation. Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth ,and the Lord said to me;Behold I have put my words in your mouth .See ,I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms ,to root out and to pull down ,to destroy and to throw down,to build and to plant. Jeremiah 1;9,10 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple ,and his disciples came up to show him the buildings of the Temple .And Jesus said to them,do you not see all these things ? assuredly ,I say to you ,not one stone shall be left here upon another ,that shall not be thrown down.Matthew 24;1-2; (Amos 9;11-12) It is,however ,imperative to stress that there are still some few faithful and obedient messengers of the most high God that would be used of God mightily to successfully pilot this end-time revival that has already kicked in. SIGNS OF FALSE REVIVAL 1.Lawlessness; Jesus told the Jews that they have used their Jewish traditions to become lawless before God . (Matthew 7;21-23,1 Samuel 2;27-30;3;13;Matthew 24;11-12;2 Timothy 3;1-7 Matthew 15;1-14;Daniel 7;10) 2.Iniquities (Sin);(Matthew 24;12; Thessalonians 2;3-12;1 Timothy 4;1-3;Romans 1;21-32) 3.False prophecy/Visions; (Matthew 24;11,23-24) 4.Self/Gross deceptions ; (Matthew 24;4-6,24;Samuel;4;Timothy 3;3-15;2 Peter 2;13-14) 5.Noisy/Confusing Explosions of Emotions; (1 Samuel 4;5;Exodus 32;1-6 ,17-29;Amos 5;21-27) 6. Covetousness; (Jude verse 11;2 Peter 2;1-3,15) EFFECTS OF FALSE REVIVAL. 1.Spiritual dwarfs(Ichabods) in the body/church of Christ and thus slaying souls to hell on hourly/daily basis, with distorted and destructive doctrines (teachings) and heresies. 2.False revival produces unconverted or half -converted evangelicals/christian believers. (Matthew 7;21-23;Romans 2;13-29) DANGERS/CONSEQUENCES OF FALSE REVIVAL; 1.Rejection; (PSALM 5;5-6;1 Samuel 4;10-11,14-18;Revelation 2;6;3;15-16;Romans 6;23;2 Thessalonians 2;8;Isaiah 11;4) 2.Defeat /Humiliation /Shame; (1 Samuel 4;2-6,10-11) 3.Immature/half -baked christian believers who will not eventually make it to heaven. (Revelation 3;9,15-16;1 Samuel 4;9-22) 4.False revival encourages and sustains a systematic and programmed disobedience to Gods laws and instructions. (1 Samuel 2;12-18,22 5.False revival breeds gross corruption and frustration of Gods grace for salvation and thus demeans the finished work of our Lord ,Jesus Christ on the cross of redemption over two thousand years ago. (Hebrews 6;6;,Romans 1;20-32) OUR RESPONSE AND WAY OUT; 1.Repentance and total consecration (Submission);we need to totally turn away from sin/worldliness and completely surrender our lives to an amiable and saving God for salvation and full divine restoration. (Exodus 19;10-25;2 Timothy 2;20-22;2 Chronicles 7;13-15;Isaiah 30;15,21;Joel 2;1-14) 2.Strong and true yearnings for revival among members of the Church of the living God . (Acts 4;19-33;Acts 5;29,40-42;Acts 6;1-7; Joel 2;14-20) 3.Gods prophetic Timing; we must however be careful not to easily give in to so many recent claims of divine encounters with Jesus Christ of Nazareth. we know that some of these claims are easily verifiable,but we must watch, and test all such revelations /divine encounters with lens of Gods word- the Holy scriptures.It is my avowed hope that God will call, reveal and use various human vessels this end-time to spearhead and run His end-time revival programmes to the far corners of the earth. (Amos 9;11;1 John 4;1-7) 4.Holding fast to the word of God. (2 Timothy 3;14-17,Jude verse 3-25 ;2 Timothy 2;9;Revelation 2;25-29);2 Thessalonians 2;15-16; PRAYER FOCUS(POINTS) 1.PRAY AND ASK GOD FOR MERCY AND FORGIVENESS OF OUR SINS (CHURCH). (2 Chronicles 7;13-14) 2.PRAY AND EARNESTLY ASK GOD TO RELEASE HIS END-TIME RAIN, IN FULL MEASURE, FOR THIS END-TIME REVIVAL. 3.PRAY AND ASK GOD TO USE YOU AS AN AGENT OF REVIVAL. PRAY AND ASK GOD FERVENTLY TO FORGIVE BACKSLIDERS AND SINNERS EVERYWHERE. God bless you ,as we watch,hunger and pray for true revival in the Church of God on earth.
