To play Bilbao in Bilbao is not fun for anyone and in top of that Bilbao already knows, that this is a key match for them. If Bilbao wants to go further in this tournament, then they need to win their home matches. I’m convinced they will do exactly that. I think Bilbao is strong enough to win all 3 home matches in this group. We have seen big clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona; Atl. Madrid, Valencia; Seville etc. have big problems at San Mamés. I think it is the synergy of he many great players of Bilbao, the fans and their stadium combined - is what makes them so strong at home turf. Shakhtar is a strong team as well with some experienced players like their captain Srna, but I don’t see them as strong as for instance Napoli – whom Bilbao defeated 3-1 at home in the play offs.
