DANNY VAN DONGEN WINS 1ST PICKUP RACE Danny van Dongen had his first win in the MW-V6 Pickup Series today! Van Dongen (NL): “The race went fine. My main competitor Eoin Murray was not driving in the front this time. I had a great start and took the lead in the first corner. I kept pushing afterwards. When I looked in my mirror I saw I was a few hundred meters ahead. Then I thought: keep focusing, I want to win this!” Jack van der Ende (NL) won second place: “It went pretty well. It was the first time the car worked properly and now we can improve the setup. I think it will be promising for the second and third race.” Belgian Frederique Jonckheere was the surprising third: “It went very well. It’s the first race for me so I am very satisfied. It was a difficult start, because someone hit me and then cars were left and right of me. But I had a good race. I had some fights with Pim van Riet and Alx Danielsson and it was a good race.
