DARE the driver of Restoration and real Empowerment By: His Excellency Interim President G. Dzikiti We are seriously seized with the economic demise of Zimbabwe. It is surely irresponsible that Zanu Pf has ignored the economic paralysis facing the country at the expence of factionalism.It is a fact that Zimbabweans are struggling to put a decent meal at the table yet the government disputedly elected has failed to provide direction and a remedy towards economic ills.It is in such a precarious predicament that Zimbabweans are reduced to spectactors in Zanu Pf soap opera as they have simply gone to fight petticoat issues at the expense of the economy. DARE recognises that the country is bleeding and requires surgery to remove the cancer of corruption, maladministration, nepotism and bureaucracy. It is a shame that the ship is stewardless at this time and perilous moment where leadership is required. Zimbabwe is in a leadership crisis and no amount of factional powermongering will change the countrys fortune except servant leadership and commitment to the general populace. What is shocking is the fact that government has negleted its roles and created uncertainity and loss of confidence among the populace and international community at large. Today the biggest challenge is the need to grow the economy and boost productivity in Zimbabwe. We note with disgust name-calling and flying rhetoric at the expense of people. We are ashamed of Zanu Pf and take note of lack of direction while calling upon dissolution of parliament and new elections. The cluelessness of Zanu Pf is treasonous and a mockery to the electorate. We demand a resignation of government as a failure and call upon stakeholders conference of all political parties to apoint a caretaker government with a mandate to immediately arrest the economic decline, align the constitution of the country and laws,implement electoral changes and a road map towards new general elections. DARE political party is confident that the failure of Zanu Pf government points to a need for drastic generational shifts towards an innovative,productive, creative and visionary leaders. We call upon Zimbabweans to be vigilant in rejecting monarchy, we salute our republicanism and denounce dynastical politics or oligarchy. We are mindful that 2014 has pointed starkly to the failure of Zanu Pf as a party and government and call upon all democratic forces to unite and focus under the banner of DARE as we restore and empower Zimbabweans.
