DARK MONDAY - RODEO CLOWNS; November 4, 2013 at MERLIN RODEO CLOWNS observes the last day in the life of Ralph Persons, an iconic and controversial author who is dying of an unnamed illness. Tended to by his lifelong friend and former competitor, Nelle, his sole priority is to complete his last living work of fiction. His estranged son, Jack, shows up unexpectedly in search of an apology for his fathers abscence; howver, he is unable to confront Ralph face to face. As the day advances from morning to night, Nelle and Jack become increasingly involved in the authors HUMOROUS though vehement creative process, until they are accomplices in Ralphs attempts at suicide and artistic immortality.
