DAY 23 - Love Intercedes - My house will be called a house of prayer. (Isaiah 5:7) The more children grow, the more unpredictable their lives become. More opportunities for slip-ups and letdowns. More chances for the wrong person to whisper backward thinking in their ears. More ways for their decisions to turn around and bite them. You cannot always protect them or control the flow around their lives. But love has a stellar battle strategy and backup plan. Its called PRAYER. What a glorious, gracious God He is! We are not only invited into His throne room; we are expected to pray. Anytime about anything (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). There is nothing more powerful you can do to greatly impact your children for good than to get on your knees and sincerely pray for them. Prayer is a language of love. We should speak it as naturally as breathing. Prayer lets your love soar to new heights so your heart can rest under the shadow of the Almighty. LOVE DARE CHALLENGE: Begin praying for your kids. After talking with God on their behalf, share with your children what you are now praying for their lives. Question: In what areas did the Lord lead you to pray for your children?
