DAY SEVEN – 11TH JANUARY 2015 BENEFITS OF KINGDOM SERVICE When you render sincere service in God’s Vineyard, He brings sustainable blessings to you. One way to actually sustain God’s blessings upon your life and family is to ensure you are in service in His Kingdom. Remember, it was while Zacharias was serving in his place of assignment that God visited him and his barren wife Elizabeth got pregnant and gave birth to John – the Baptist.(Luke 1:8-12). Serving the Lord is doing yourself a great favour. Candidly speaking, your commitment to God will definitely pave the way for you to attain unmerited favour and success. However, it is quite understandable that there are some hindrances to your effective service in God’s Vineyard but you must deliberately brush aside such hindrances and position yourself for profitable service in God’s Kingdom. “And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.” 1Cor. 7:35. Some of the hindrances to service could be “distractions such as business connections, job, career, marriage, children etc. it may also include giving unreasonable excuses” Below are some benefits from KINGDOM SERVICE. 1. Kingdom service positions you for Divine Blessings – Exodus 23:25 2. It will also ensure that you enjoys Divine Health – Exodus 23:25 3. You will live a life of prosperity and abundance – Job :36:11 4. You will encounter honour from men and God - John 12:26 5. You will be assured of a place in eternity – John 12:26 6. It will place a mark of distinction upon you – Malachi 3:18 7. Kingdom service will bring fulfillment to your life – Matthew 6:33 8. Kingdom service brings you closer to God and causes you to experience intimacy with Him on a daily basis. Infact, you are privileged to enjoy God’s presence more. PRAYER POINTS 1. Oh Lord, cause me and my household to experience the benefits of serving you in this year of TOTAL RECOVERY in Jesus name. Ps. 68:19 2. Oh Lord, give me the heart to serve in your Vineyard with gladness in Jesus name. Psalms 100:2 3. Oh Lord, I command fire to consume every contrary power that wants to swallow my blessings in this year of TOTAL RECOVERY in Jesus name. Job 20:15 4. Oh Lord, every power covering me from experiencing the benefits of serving in your Vineyard, expire by fire in Jesus name. Isaiah 25:7 5. Oh Lord, within the first 90 days of the year, let me enjoy unlimited blessings as a result of my service in your vineyard in Jesus name. Revelation 3:8 6. Oh Lord, I command my hidden blessings to come out by fire now in Jesus name. Isaiah 45:3 7. Oh Lord, help me to obey your voice in this year of TOTAL RECOVERY in Jesus name. Jeremiah 3:13 8. Oh Lord, as I serve you in this year of TOTAL RECOVERY restore all my treasures that were stolen in 2014 in Jesus name. This year, 2015, I must recover all (shout it very loud 3 times – I must recover all!!!) 1 kings 14:26 9.
