DC constitutes flying squads to check LPG misuse JAMMU, JANUARY 25-For implementation of LPG (regulation of supply and distribution) order 2000 and to avoid the violation of section-3 of Essential Commodity Act and in order to comply the directions of High Court of J&K. Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ajeet Kumar Sahu today issued an order wherein the Jammu district has been divided into five zones and constituted zone-wise five joint flying squads of Legal Metrology, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, police and sales officers of oil companies. The squads shall conduct raids in commercial established to check the misuse of domestic cylinders for commercial purposes, book the violators and cancel the connections of such establishments, who are misusing domestic cylinders for commercial purposes and take penal action against them.
