***DE:BUG announcement*** All Good things come to an end . . . . Things don’t come much better than De:Bug And This Saturday at Tramlines Festival, Sheffield. will be our last party together! Since the brainchild of founders Steve Lynam, Steve Roberts and Reece Johnson first unleashed itself on Sheffield back in 2011 we have had the most amazing time, throwing parties together in the steel city, with the simple ethos of making every party we put on, bigger than the last! A mandate that has served us very well for the last three years, boy, have we had a blast! Our first steps, taking over Rise (Now Bloo 88) forging a renegade house and techno event that didn’t conform to Sheffield’s music scene. During our stint here, the unthinkable happened; we met a being just as passionate about what we wanted to bring to the Steel city. Long standing resident Jordan Hope joined the now fearsome De:Bug team we were growing!! In music you have to move fast, we needed more space for our growing number of followers! We took our cohort of like minded party goers to DQ along with headline guests Jordan Peak, Adam Shelton, Russ Yallop, H2, Eats Everything and Puente & Rosch! Our first Birthday approached as did the renaissance of the Fez Club, and there was no better place, to hold our first year tear up! Sheffield debuts for Dyed Soundorom and Laura Jones were our gift back to the steel city – Dyed smashing out the Air Horn and coining the ‘SHEFFEEL’ scream, is something we’ll never forget along with the addition of the final piece of the De:Bug puzzle! SUPER STAR RESIDENT The man like Sean Doughty!. 18 months continued at our new permanent home – The Fez Club - Sheffield, bringing acts such as DJ W!LD, Huxley, Alexis Raphael, Tom Demac (Live & DJ sets), Ben Pearce, Waze & Odyssey, Dale Howard, Shadow Child, Heidi, De Sluwe Vos, SHONKY, Djebali, Jeremy UndergroundParis, Brawther, Alex Arnout, Samu.l, Nima Gorji & the LAD Timmy P Not forgetting our second Birthday with The Martinez Brothers, Dan Ghenacia, Crazy P, and Wolf Music Recordings! Which brings us to our final DE:BUG line up together… FCL, DE SLUWE VOS (again, cos he’s ace), Jamie Trench & TIMMY P (again, cos he’s ace too!). We all want to thank you for the support over the past 3 years, it’s been awesome. Thanks to our family, friends, club owners, bar workers, ticket sellers, agents and artists who’ve made it mint for us and DE:BUG. We’ve had an awesome time. Now… Lets smash this last event, YEAH??!!
