DEADLINE IS FRIDAY! Your submission should include: 1. Poster Image that includes your name and the title (jpeg). 2. A short description of your interpretation of the story. 3. The runtime of your final project. (As rules state, must be 30 seconds exactly) The shortest, short story competition for SVA Computer Art majors. What has become known as the shortest story ever told has been attributed to Ernest Hemingway. Here is the story... "For sale. Baby shoes. Never worn." Competition - Create a 30 second adaptation of this story. Rules: 1. For Computer Art Majors only. 2. Project must be exactly 30 seconds long (including title and credits). Not longer, not shorter - 30 seconds. 3. Opening title must be: "A short story by Ernest Hemingway" 4. End credit should include: a. Artist(s) b. Produced at SVA. Work may be created with any media - live action, still photos, motion graphics, computer animation or any combination. Audio is expected. Work may be submitted by individuals or teams. The final project must be submitted as h.264 Quicktime video, 30 fps, 720p. All submissions must be delivered to the BFA Computer Art Chairs Office. Deadline will be August 2, 2013 Prizes: Up to three prizes will be awarded as tuition scholarships. 1. $3000.00 2. $2000.00 3. $1000.00 Awards will be given to the project. If a project has more than one artist the award will be divided equally amongst the collaborating artists.
