DEAR FRIENDS AND FAMILY! My unit at the Peoria Police Department has adopted a very worthy family for Christmas. The family consist of two teenage girls, ages 12 and 16 and their mother. Both girls were victims of abuse at the hands of their father (a term he doesnt deserve). As we seek justice for these young women we hope that by giving them some joy over the holidays that their healing can begin. If any of you feel that you could possibly join our efforts we would certainly appreciate it. We are collecting VISA gift cards in any amount so that we can purchase things that the girls need. No amount is too small. One of our Detectives has generously kicked off our efforts by purchasing a bed for the girls, something they didnt have due to having to leave everything behind and leave their home. Please help if you can. Please message me and we can make arrangements for you to get the VISA card to me. We need to act soon so that their is time to shop for them. Thanks in advance to all who care enough to get involved.
