URL: kathieglass.org/ If you plan to participate at a local press conference or go all the way to Edinburg, if you have questions on the event, or to volunteer as a co-coordinator, contact the co-coordinators of the at (832) 330-1872 or (512) 308-6936. The September 19 debate in Edinburg will be televised on English stations in only the Rio Grande Valley, Austin, San Antonio, Beaumont, and Amarillo. Kathie will run ads before, during, and/or right after the debate, depending on the city. Abbott and Davis have agreed to attend a debate with the KERA -- the PBS station in Dallas -- on Sept. 30. We are in discussion with KERA, the entity setting the criteria and deciding whether Kathie will be allowed to participate. Their main criteria is whether Kathie is newsworthy, but have some exclusionary rules of thumb to measure that -- like having received 10% in the last race run or consistent 10% or more in the polls. We hope to persuade them that a better criteria for newsworthy is whether media have chosen to cover Kathie. We think the fact that Kathie has been covered by television stations in the 14 largest cities in Texas and over 100 newspapers during this campaign is an actual indicator of newsworthiness. More to come on that situation. Toward liberty, The Kathie Glass Campaign
