DEC 25, 2014... I love Christmas. I love that I am allowed to love and worship my God in the way I want to. I love that I have that freedom. I hate Dec 25th. I hate that so many of our loved ones are not here to help celebrate the birth of our Jesus Christ and spread the love and word of God. I hate the depression it causes for so many, the suicide rates go up so high during the holidays. I hate that families are torn apart, do not speak. I hate not being able to provide holiday meals for my families, buy gifts or even buy a tree or decorations. We did not see a single person on Christmas day, which unfortunately is not unusual for my husband, my job keeps me working different holidays. Could not tell you the last time we had a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal. But is does not matter, you see it is not about the getting, it is about the giving. Do not feel sorry for us or pity us, for we are truly blessed. My husband and I were able to help a mother with 3 children provide Christmas for her children. With all the toys we have here, we were able to find some nice, clean used toys for her children and even provide the mother with a winter coat, which she did not have. My husband also gave her one of the many cross key rings he has been making. When I posted pictures of the coats for the mother to choose from, my husband was holding them up for me, in each picture there was an orb (Angel) in each on. I have only seen this happen in 2 other pictures I have taken. AND yes, I do believe they were Angels sent on behalf of our loving God to let us know we were doing the right thing and that all will be ok. I will post the pictures after posting this. This was not meant to offend or hurt anyone, just felt if from my heart. And yes, I know we are not alone in this situation, 1000s of people have it worse than we do. I hope no one feels the need to delete me after this, but if you feel you must, Then do so.
