DELTA GUBER 2015-BEHOLD THE MAN THE CAP FITS-STANLEY K OFULUE Fellow Countrymen and women of Deltan nativity lend me your ears, we are in a critical period for the survival of dear Delta state and we must not give deaf ears to the cry for the emancipation and deliverance of our state as though, it does not concern us. After due consultations, considerations, research and cursory verification, we make bold to say that only the best candidate is good enough for Delta State among the many aspirants that are jostling for the number one seat, and the Man the Cap Fits perfectly is our Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa. It fits him so well because he is not coming to learn politics or the art of administration and governance. He has traversed the lenght and breadth of administration and does he need to use a whole tenure to settle down and be abreast with the rudiments of the office. We are sure that he would set the ball rolling on the first month of his assumption of duty as the Executive Governor. Whereas, some persons have accused him of selfishness , while some other person who has followed up with his activities has wittingly called for his probe as no Senator has spent what he has spent on handling of projects for the people. Senator Okowa is a man of excellence, he is young and very energetic, humble and a team player. He is a loyal party man and a grassroot mobilizer. He is a man of peace and a detribalized Deltan whose friends and colleagues cut across all the tribes of the State. Senator Okowa was coronated with a Chieftaincy of Ekwueme meaning; one who does not make empty promises and he has lived up to that name. He is innovation driven and he has promised to drive Delta State to an enviable height by giving her a facelift. Fellow Deltans, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is your son, a square peg in a square hole, who has made us proud locally and nationally to the admiration of the citizens and our great party PDP.
